Azerbaijan's Flag Hoisted In Chicago To Mark Independence Restoration Day

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. The State Flag of
Azerbaijan was raised in American Chicago city in honor of October
18 - the Day of Restoration of Independence, Trend
reports via the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of
Azerbaijan.
The flag-raising ceremony took place at the Daley Center, the
city's prominent civic hub, organized by the co-founders of the
Azerbaijan Center of Midwest America (ACMA) based in Illinois,
Farid Mammadov and Mehriban Mammadova.
As the national anthem of Azerbaijan played, the vibrant,
three-colored flag was hoisted, capturing the attention of
residents.
Attendees with sparked interest were provided with information
about Azerbaijan.
