Azerbaijan Plans To Lay Down Tram Line In Bustling City Of Lachin

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. A tram line is
scheduled to be constructed in the city of Lachin, the acting
executive director of the Lachin District Rehabilitation,
Construction, and Management Service Tofig Islamov said at the
Caspian construction Week, Trend reports.
“The design and construction of hotels, galleries, catering
facilities, a music hall, a theater, and creative centers, along
with the installation of a tram line on Heydar Aliyev street in
Lachin, is scheduled to commence soon,” he said.
Islamov mentioned that since this street is envisioned as a
tourist hotspot, a cable car will be strung through the city to the
boulevard by the Hakari river.
To note, the Caspian Construction Week, a key event in the
region's construction industry, is taking place at the Baku Expo
Center from October 15 to 17. The event brings together a variety
of construction companies from different countries around the world
on one platform. Presently, over 380 companies from 22 different
countries are showcasing their work at the exhibitions during the
Caspian Construction Week.
