Azerbaijan's Central Bank, ICIEC To Co-Work For Better Insurance Services

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 25. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), aimed at expanding the use of Islamic insurance services in the country, Trend reports.

According to the CBA, a legislative foundation for cooperation amongst organizations in the Islamic insurance area is the principal goal of the paper.

Under the memorandum, both parties decided to swap stories in the realm of Islamic insurance, roll up their sleeves for a variety of training programs and seminars, and pave the way for mutual visits.

This cooperation is set to roll out fresh financial tools in the country, which will, in turn, speed up the flow of investments into Azerbaijan.
