Azerbaijan's CEC Gets Into Dissecting Parliamentary Election Deliverables

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. The Central
Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan is currently holding a
meeting to address key matters related to the recent snap
parliamentary election, Trend reports.
The agenda items for the session include reviewing and approving
the minutes from the September 9th CEC sessions.
To recall, the snap parliamentary election was held in
Azerbaijan on September 1.
A total of 112,749 local observers were registered, including
over 65,000 representatives of Political parties. There were 598
international observers from 51 organizations and 69 countries.
Among the 990 registered candidates, 305 represented 25
political parties, while 371 were party members but were not
nominated by their parties. In total, 676 candidates were
affiliated with political parties.
