Kazakhstan To Stabilize Gas Exports To China


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 30. QazaqGaz, Kazakhstan's national gas company, will take all necessary measures to stabilize gas exports to China during the upcoming winter, the head of QazaqGaz Sanzhar Zharkeshov said, Trend reports.

He made the statement during a meeting with PetroChina President Yongzhang Huang and PetroChina International Executive Director Wu Junli.

The meeting took place as part of a working visit by Kazakhstan's energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev to China.

“We highly value our long-standing, mutually beneficial relationship with PetroChina, which is strategic and holds significant future potential,” Zhakishev remarked.

From August 29 to 30, an official delegation from Kazakhstan, led by Energy Minister Almassadam Satkaliyev, is visiting China. The Energy Minister held a series of meetings with representatives of major Chinese energy companies and government officials.
