the production of 5 million tons of LNG from the Coral Sul FLNG,

Since beginning production in October 2022, the Coral Sul FLNG
has exported 70 cargos of LNG and 10 of condensate, significantly
contributing to Mozambique's economic growth. This project is a
landmark for the industry, establishing Mozambique as a key player
in the global LNG market and laying the foundation for the
country's transformation through the development of its gas
resources while supporting a sustainable energy transition.
Marica Calabrese, Managing Director of Eni Rovuma Basin,
commented,“We are truly proud to reach this important milestone.
It reinforces our commitment to delivering outstanding value to
Mozambique. We will continue working with our partners and the
Government of Mozambique to ensure the timely development of the
country's vast gas resources.”
The Coral Sul FLNG has a gas liquefaction capacity of 3.4
million tons per year (MTPA) and will produce 450 billion cubic
meters of gas from the Coral reservoir in the Rovuma Basin. As the
first floating LNG facility deployed in deep waters off the African
continent, Coral Sul FLNG represents a pioneering project in terms
