UN Security Council Structure Should Be Radically Changed Turkish President

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. The structure of the UN Security Council needs to be radically changed, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his address to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Trend reports.

"The structure of the UN Security Council, which is far from fulfilling the task of ensuring global peace and security, must be radically changed before wars engulf the world, large numbers of people and societies suffer, and innocent blood is shed," the Turkish President noted.

Erdogan said Türkiye will continue to support all its friends who are sincerely working to build a fair international system and the UN Security Council in accordance with today's conditions.
