Jerash Festival's Embassies Pavilion Opens

Amman, July 25 (Petra)-- Minister of Culture Haifa Al-Najjar inaugurated the Embassies Pavilion in the ancient city of Jerash, on Thursday.
This is the second year that the event has been held, and participating countries include the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait, the Republic of Tunisia, and the Jordanian Pavilion.
Al-Najjar explored the participating pavilions and discovered more about their folklore industries while escorted by Ayman Samawi, the festival's executive director. She also was briefed on on creating unique shapes for handicrafts and how to make them from the artisans.
By showcasing their traditional costumes, drawings, and handicrafts, as well as by sharing their exhibits with festival attendees, the participating countries in the pavilion hope to draw attention to their cultures.
With the great promotion it brings about for Jordan, its tourist archaeological sites, and its cultural heritage, the exhibition attracts a lot of attention to the festival's programs and events from the media of the participating countries in the exhibition of the embassies' pavilion on this festival and the transmission of its events through the Arab and international media.
