The Dash 8-400, manufactured by De Havilland Aircraft of Canada, is a twin-engine turboprop regional aircraft capable of carrying up to 80 passengers with a range of 2,000 kilometers.
This delivery marks the second of four aircraft acquired by OJSC Manas International Airport for domestic flight services. The third aircraft is expected to arrive in January, with the fourth scheduled for May. Initially, deliveries were projected for May 2025 and late 2025, respectively.
Starting in May 2025, all four aircraft will operate flights throughout the country, providing service to residents.
Established as a subsidiary of Manas International Airport OJSC in June 2023, Asman Airlines took delivery of its first aircraft in early September 2024. The airline conducted its inaugural technical flight on the Bishkek-Talas route on September 24.
