(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Drones attacked a ferry at the Russian port of Kavkaz overnight into Tuesday, killing one person and injuring several others.
That's according to the Crimea news outlet, which cites representatives of the Occupation "authorities," Ukrinform reports.
"This morning, a ferry was attacked by drones at the port of Kavkaz. [...] The fire is local, there is no threat of the fire spreading. Unfortunately, there are injuries and one fatality among the crewmembers and employees of the port. The victims are being provided with all the necessary assistance," the report reads.
Emergency services are working at the scene.
The Ukrainian authorities did not comment on reports of the attack on the ferry.
The port of Kavkaz is located 15 kilometers from Kerch and links Russia with Crimea via the Kerch Strait. There is a cargo terminal for transshipment of export oil. It was reported in late May that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had struck an oil terminal at the port.
