National Guard Commander Visits NGU Soldiers Returned From Russian Captivity

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksandr Pivnenko visited the soldiers of the National Guard who were recently returned from Russian captivity.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the NGU press service.
“It's nice to see that, despite the long time in captivity and extremely difficult conditions, you have survived, have positive dynamics in recovery and treatment. And most importantly, you are at home,” Pivnenko said.
As noted, 21 guardsmen who were recently released are now undergoing treatment and rehabilitation. The parties also discussed the first problematic issues faced by the released soldiers and their families.

“This (discussion - ed.) will allow us to solve most of them (problematic issues - ed.) in a short time. The necessary work is underway to restore the documents,” the statement said.
According to the information, psychologists, doctors, officers, and social support units will provide the necessary assistance to the heroes at every step. So far, more than 700 guardsmen have been returned from captivity as a result of all the exchanges.
As reported earlier, 95 Ukrainian servicemen who returned from Russian captivity on July 17, 2024, are currently undergoing rehabilitation and will soon return to their families.
