Ukraine's Defense Forces Deny Russian Claims Of Capturing Yasnobrodivka In Donetsk Region

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Russian defense ministry's claims of capturing Yasnobrodivka village in the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk region are not true - the village is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Nazar Voloshyn, the spokesman for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops, said this in a commentary to Ukrinform.

"The day before, the rashist command reported that the Russian Occupation army had allegedly taken control of the village of Yasnobrodivka and improved its tactical position. This is another Russian lie. The Defense Forces control the situation near this village," he said.

Voloshyn said that the enemy losses in that sector alone amounted to 99 occupiers killed and another 175 wounded over the past day.
