Mongolia, Uzbekistan Signed Cooperation Documents


(MENAFN- Nam News Network) ULAN BATOR, Jun 25 (NNN-APA) – Mongolia and Uzbekistan signed several cooperation documents yesterday, to enhance bilateral ties, according to the Mongolian presidential office's website.

The documents, which include a 2024-2026 programme for developing trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as, agreements in the fields of tourism, agriculture, air transport, and science, were signed in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, in the presence of Mongolian President, Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, and Uzbek President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Khurelsukh arrived in Tashkent on Sunday, for a four-day state visit, at the invitation of Mirziyoyev, accompanied by a high-ranking political and economic delegation.

This state visit marks the first by a Mongolian president to Uzbekistan, since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992.– NNN-APA
