Multiple talents from the South Indian Film Industry will come together for this cultural event. The event will feature the 'ALMARAM' band for the first time in Qatar along with Jassie Gift, a well-known cinematic music composer and playback singer, South Indian leading actresses like Bhavana, Shamna Kassim. Mesmerizing dance performances choreographed by three times Kerala State Film Award winner Prasanna Sujith along with his team will also be part of this event.

While no tickets are needed for children below 5years of age, tickets priced at QR50, QR100, QR150, QR500 and QR1000 can be purchased on Qtickets.

Yoga for Self and Society

Asian Town Cricket Stadium

Celebrating the UN International Day of Yoga, a 40-minute practice of a few yoga exercises along with yoga competitions and quiz will be held at the Asian Town Cricket Stadium.

Locals are invited to join the open for all event organised by Indian Embassy. The organisers stated that the preferred dress code is black trousers and white t-shirt, while participants are requested to bring their own yoga mats. Click here to register

The collaborative work explores the interaction between nature and the modern society through merging sound and visuals creating a peaceful and pure escape.

Dr. Alkhuzama Alharami is an Artificial Intelligence artist with a PHD in computer engineering. She is a current artist in residence at the Fire Station (2023-2024).

Guillaume Rouseré is a French sound artist based in Qatar. He was an artist in residence (2018-2019) and an alumni in residence (2021) at the Fire Station.

Fashioning an Empire: Textiles from Safavid Iran

This exhibition focuses on the importance of silk during the Safavid period (1501–1736 CE) in Iran.

Silk, known for its luxurious feel and intricate production process, played a crucial role in Iran's economy during this time.

Under the rule of Shah 'Abbas I the Great, silk became a state-controlled industry, boosting both domestic demand and international trade.

This period marked a time of political strength and cultural flourishing in Iran.

The exhibition, in collaboration with the National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, DC, explores the development of the silk industry and showcases Isfahan as the center of Safavid influence.

It concludes with contemporary works by Qatar-based designers inspired by Safavid textiles, demonstrating the lasting impact of this historical period on modern creativity.
