(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. The Azerbaijan Exportand investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and the Russian TradeRepresentation in the country will hold a round table in Kazantoday as part of the international forum, AZPROMO's ExecutiveDirector Yusif Abdullayev told Trend .
According to him, the event will feature Russian governmentofficials, leaders of AZPROMO and KOBIA (the Small and MediumBusiness Development Agency) of Azerbaijan, the head of theAzerbaijan Economic Zones Development Agency, and businessmen fromboth countries.
He added that the round table participants will discussprospects for medium-term cooperation and the steps that need to betaken by the state and business to overcome barriers in productsupply and investment inflow, as well as the development oflogistics, industry, tourism, and the enhancement of cooperationthrough international transport corridors.
To note, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia fromJanuary through March this year amounted to $890.7 million.
