Kaztransoil Boosts Oil Transportation To Germany In 1Q2024


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 25. Kazakhstan'sKazTransOil (the national operator of the main oil pipeline)transported 300,000 tons of Kazakh oil through the trunk oilpipeline system of Transneft PJSC towards the Adamova Zastava oildelivery point for further delivery to Germany in the first quarterof 2024, the company told Trend .

According to the company, this volume exceeds the same period in2023 by 260,000 tons.

At the same time, the company plans to transport 120,000 tons ofKazakh oil to Germany. In addition, KazTransOil also plans totransport 993,000 tons of Kazakh oil to Germany in total in2024.

This transit is being conducted in accordance with the terms ofthe relevant agreement signed on June 7, 2002, between thegovernments of the Russian Federation and the Republic ofKazakhstan.

KazTransOil is part of the KazMunayGas group (Kazakhstan'snational oil and gas company). The company owns a diversifiednetwork of main oil pipelines, each 5,400 km in length.
