In a press release, the RBI said,“On a review of the current and evolving liquidity conditions, it has been decided to conduct a Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction on March 04.”The auction will take place from 10.30 am to 11.00 am and the reversal of funds will happen on March 7. The central bank has conducted three VRRR auctions in the last few days to remove excess liquidity from the banking system.
