Ying Tan came to the United States from Taishan in 2009 to study, was married, and now Is a mother of two children. She have always pursued the American dream and considers New York City her home.
According to the New York Times Over 100,000 migrants have arrived in the city over the last year.
If elected Ying Tan's District 43 includes Bensonhurst, Dyker Height, Gravesend, and Sunset Park. Ying will focus on bringing law and order back to the community and working to correct the migrant crisis.
Ying Tan defeated challenger Vito Labella in the Republican Primary.
