Head of Notre Dame discovered deceased


(MENAFN) French General Jean-Louis Georgelin, head of the refurbishment of Paris’ fire-hurt Notre Dame cathedral, has been discovered deceased close to a mountain pass in southeastern France, the Foix civic prosecutor’s bureau established on Saturday, saying that the passing was being looked at as a coincidence.

The 74-year-old’s corps was found by mountain gendarmes in the Pyrenees when he did not come back from a lone walk on Friday. He allegedly dropped on Mount Valier, positioned close to the Faustin pass in Ariege at an altitude of 2,650 meters (8,694 feet).

Georgelin worked as the private army consultant to previous Leader, Jacques Chirac, from 2002 to 2006 as well as head of crew for the French army from 2006 to 2010. throughout that time, he headed procedures in Afghanistan, Lebanon, Côte d’Ivoire, as well as the Balkans.
