Waste Collector Who Returned Missing Jd67,000 In Tafila Honored

Amman, Aug. 10 (Petra) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Kreishan honored waste collector (nation's worker), Khaled Dhaher Al-Saud from the Greater Tafilah Municipality, who found JD67,000 in front of a bank branch in Tafilah, southern Jordan, two days ago and returned it to its owner.
Kreishan lauded the honesty of the nation's workers, who set the most wonderful examples of patriotism, sincerity, honesty, pride and dignity, and their eagerness to return lost money and valuable possessions to their owners, stressing that Al-Saud embodies a living example of honesty, goodness and good deeds.
For his part, Al-Saud said that honesty doesn't need to be honored.
He added that he is proud as a nation's worker of that he made his job a model in consolidating honesty and responsibility and returning lost items to their owners, in honor of God Almighty, and based on his tolerant Islamic faith, his humanity and his Jordanianness that is based on love.
The Ministry's Secretary General for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Nidal Abu Orabi Al-Adwan, and Mayor of the Greater Tafila Municipality, Hazem Adeinat attended the honoring ceremony.
