Hcd, Chinese Embassy Sign Mou To Support People With Disabilities


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - HH Prince Mired, chairman of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD),
and Chinese Ambassador Chen Chuandong on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance relations in the field of empowering and integrating people with disabilities into society.

Prince Mired praised the embassy's keenness to enhance cooperation on exchanging technical expertise, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He also briefed the ambassador on the top tasks of the HCD in enhancing the rights of people with disabilities in cooperation with partners.

For his part, the envoy commended the role of the council in enhancing the rights of people with disabilities.

Under the memo, the embassy has provided the council with medical equipment and assistive devices to be distributed to beneficiaries through partner service providers.
