Scale, Severity Of Russia's Losses Only To Grow - Ukraine's Senior Security Official

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said Russia's losses would only become larger and heavier as time goes by.

The official made the statement via twitter , Ukrinform reports.

With each new combat mission, Danilov noted, Ukrainian strike aerial and naval drones are becoming more precise, operators – more experienced, and combat coordination – more efficient, while manufacturers get opportunities to improve tactical and technical features of their military products.

"August was particularly successful for Ukrainian hunters. Next is the expansion of the scale and range of combat operations, the scale and severity of Russian losses," he noted.

According to Danilov, Russian targets are the best training ground for Ukrainian weapons and their promotion in the world arms markets.

The Secretary of the National Security Council is convinced that the Ukrainian military-industrial complex will become one of the main global players as their equipment has passed a unique combat test.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in Novorossiysk Bay, a surface drone damaged Russian Navy's large landing assault ship Olenegorsky Gornyak, on which there were nearly 100 crew members at the time of the strike.

In the Kerch Strait, as a result of an attack by naval drones, the U.S.-sanctioned Russian tanker SIG, known for transporting aviation jet fuel from Russia to Syria and which was anchored in the area after arriving from Türkiye, is also believed to have been damaged.
