Putin claims Russia does not refuse negotiations with Ukraine

(MENAFN) Russian Leader Vladimir Putin stated on Saturday that Russia did not refuse discussions on Ukraine. Also, that an African peace inventiveness in addition to a Chinese one can be a root for peace.

Putin was talking at a news conference following gathering with African Presidents in St. Petersburg on Friday. He also declared that it was tough to apply a truce when the Ukrainian military was striking and that there were no major changes as well as no strengthening of acts on the Ukrainian front for now.

He declared that Ukraine had lost 415 tanks in addition to 1,300 reinforced vehicles since the 4th of June, but the figures quoted by him could not be confirmed. No one desires a straight clatter of NATO as well as Russia's militaries in Syria, Putin Stated on Saturday as well.

The Russian leader, who is not going to join a conference of the BRICS countries in August personally, declared on Saturday that he did not assume that the trip is going to be more significant than him remaining in Russia.

The Kremlin stated last week that Putin is going to join the BRICS conference by video call. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is going to be at the Johannesburg meeting on Aug. 22-24 rather than Putin.
