Hoffenheim announces Attila Szalai transfer, signing four-year contract


(MENAFN) Hoffenheim announces the transfer Attila Szalai of from Fenerbahce on Monday to ink a four-year contract until 2027.

Hoffenheim declared in a speech that "The 25-year-old Hungarian international has moved from Fenerbahçe to Hoffenheim and has signed a contract until 30th June 2027,"

The Yellow Canaries noted on the Turkish Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that they will compensate a EUR12.3 million (USD13.6 million) purchase fee to the Turkish team for Szalai.

Fenerbahce also declared that the solidarity contribution fees that is going to occur in line with the FIFA guidelines is going to be compensated by Fenerbahce as well.

Hungarian defender was a key part of the Istanbul club team that won the 2022-23 Turkish Cup.
In the previous season, Szalai scored three goals and two assists in 52 games, including UEFA Europa League, Turkish Super Lig, as well as Turkish Cup.
