(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Border guards of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi unit, together with customs officers, prevented the export of a violin made by Italian master Antonio Stradivari in 1730. That's according to the state border guard service , Ukrinform reports.
As noted, a bag with a musical instrument was found in the cabin of a bus during border and customs control at the "Palanka-Maiaky-Udobne" checkpoint.
The instrument was seized and sent for expert examination.
The famous master Antonio Stradivari (1644 - 1737) created almost 2.500 unique instruments, but about 650 pieces have survived to this day.
