(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian aircraft launched one strike on the enemy's command post, eight strikes on military personnel concentration areas, and six strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems over the last 24 hours. That's according to the facebook page of the General Staff of the armed forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"The Russian Federation continues to kill the Ukrainian civilian population and continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, using terror tactics. Last night, the Russian Federation launched another attack on Ukraine involving Iranian-made Shahed attack UAVs. Information about the consequences is being clarified. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 1 missile strike and 72 air strikes and carried out more than 50 attacks from multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among children and civilians. Port infrastructure and grain storage facilities in southern Ukraine, as well as residential buildings, were destroyed and damaged," the post said.
The probability of missile and air strikes on targets across Ukraine remains high, the General Staff warned.
In the past 24 hours, more than 35 combat engagements were recorded.
On the Volyn and Polissia axis, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy carried out air strikes outside Huriiv Kozachok and Pishchane in the Kharkiv region. More than 30 settlements came under mortar and artillery shelling, including areas northeast of Leonivka, Chernihiv region, Seredyna-Buda, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Bilopillia, areas east of Uhroidy and southeast of Popivka in the Sumy region, as well as Strilecha, Ohirtseve, Bochkove, Nesterne and Budarka in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk sector, airstrikes were recorded near Terny, Vilshana and Kyslivka, while Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, Odradne and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy carried out airstrikes near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Lyman, Yampil, Siversk, Spirne and Rozdolivka, Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in areas northwest of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, south of Ivanivske and west of Klishchiivka. The enemy carried out airstrikes outside Dyliivka and Predtechyne in the Donetsk region. More than ten settlements, including Klishchiivka, Chasiv Yar, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Pivnichne and New York in the Donetsk region were came under enemy artillery shelling.
On the Avdiivka axis, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops near Pervomaiske. The enemy carried out airstrikes near Novokalynove, Avdiivka and Nevelske. At the same time, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of more than ten settlements, including Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Vodiane, Pervomaiske and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Marinka sector, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops near Krasnohorivka and Marinka. The enemy shelled more than ten settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, Heorhiivka and Maksymilianivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarske area, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Rivnopil, Donetsk region. The enemy shelled more than ten settlements, including Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region.
On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axis, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of Ukrainian troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes outside Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv and Lobkove of the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 35 settlements were hit by artillery fire, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Stepove, Lobkove and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Burhunka, Lvove, Tiahynka, Mykilske, Dniprovske and Stanislav of the Kherson region and Kherson city.
At the same time, Ukrainian defense forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk sectors and are entrenching themselves on the achieved lines.
"In the past 24 hours, the aircraft of the Defense Forces launched a strike on the enemy's command post, eight strikes on personnel concentration areas and six strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems. In the past 24 hours, our defenders destroyed three Shahed-136 attack UAVs of the enemy. In the past 24 hours, units of rocket troops and artillery hit four command posts, three air defense systems, nine artillery pieces at firing positions and four electronic warfare stations of the occupiers," the General Staff said.
