Ajloun Cable Car Attracts 4,000 Tourists During Hijri New Year Holiday-Jfdz

Ajloun, July 20 (Petra)- A total of 4,000 tourists visited Ajloun Cable Car project on Wednesday, which coincided with a holiday to mark Hijri new year, Director General of Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZ), Arwa Hiyari
In a statement to "Petra" Thursday, Hiyari noted 65,000 visitors of various nationalities have visited the Ajloun cable car since the project was officially launched.
The site, she said, is witnessing "increasing" demand, especially on official holidays and weekends, to enjoy the area's picturesque landscapes.
Hiyari added that the project is a point of tourist attraction and contributes to stimulating the tourism movement to the northern governorate's various destinations.
The enterprise also helps advance the region's tourism and economic sector, which produces economic benefits to Ajloun, she said, adding that JFDZ's administration is continuing its plans to improve the services provided to visitors.
