Five-Kilometer-Long Traffic Jam Formed In Occupied Kherson Region Due To Cars Traveling From Crimea


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) A traffic jam of more than five kilometers has formed in the temporarily occupied Kherson region due to motorists leaving the temporarily occupied Crimea.

That's according to the Russian propaganda edition RIA Novosti on telegram , Ukrinform reports.

"A traffic jam of more than five kilometers in length has formed in the Kherson region on the way of motorists leaving Crimea towards Melitopol," the post says.

A video of the traffic jam has been posted.

It is noted that at least 50,000 tourists from the Russian Federation on the temporarily occupied peninsula, most of which arrived by their own cars.

As reported, only freight transport has been crossing the Kerch Strait by ferry since the attack on the Kerch Bridge.

According to preliminary data, a section of the Kerch Bridge collapsed around four in the morning on July 17. An explosion preceded it. It is reported that at least two people were dead and one injured. Huge queues formed in front of the bridge. Train traffic was also stopped.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine recalled the words of its head Kyrylo Budanov that the Kerch Bridge is a redundant structure.

The SSU stated that the service would disclose all the details about the organization of the "cotton" on the Crimean Bridge after Victory Day.
