Al Sadd defeated home side SVG Reichenau 4-0 in their first friendly match in the pre-season training camp in the Seefeld-Tyrol region in Austria, yesterday.
Ahmed Al Saeed put the Qatari side ahead while a goal from Moaz Al Wadiya and a brace from Algerian star Baghdad Bounedjah sealed the dominant win for the Wolves. Meanwhile, Al Sadd yesterday announced that the team will conclude their overseas training camp four days earlier than planned, and will return to Doha on July 15, instead of July 19.
The decision has been taken to accommodate a friendly match against Morocco's Raja Athletic Club, which will be held on July 21 at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. The match serves as part of the team's preparations for their participation in the King Salman Club Cup which will be held from July 27-August 12.
