Pm Praises 'Vitasta' Cultural Festival Held In Kashmir

new delhi- the prime minister, narendra modi on monday praised the recently concluded 'vitasta' cultural festival held at the skicc in srinagar last week.

the festival showcasing the rich culture, arts and crafts of kashmir, was inaugurated on friday last by the union home minister amit shah during his two-day visit to the union territory.

responding to the tweet threads by amrit mahotsav about vitasta program, the prime minister tweeted;

“इस बेहतरीन पहल के लिए बहुत-बहुत बधाई। कई वर्षों के बाद हुए“वितस्ता – द फेस्टिवल ऑफ कश्मीर” से देशभर के लोगों को ना सिर्फ राज्य की समृद्ध संस्कृति और विरासत को जानने का मौका मिला है, बल्कि यह कार्यक्रम देशवासियों को भी एक सूत्र में पिरोने का शानदार प्रयास है।”

vitasta program was organized to take the rich art, culture, literature, craft and cuisine of kashmir to the whole country.

the series of these programmes, which started from chennai, ended in srinagar, in which the youth showed enthusiasm to know the kashmiri culture. many events like workshops, art installation camps, seminars, craft exhibitions were organised to bring kashmir culture to the masses, in which people participated and got acquainted with the culture of kashmir.
