Orban claims EU discussions full of non-sense

(MENAFN) Based on domestic media, Hungarian Premier Viktor Orban has stated that the European Union is losing its competitiveness and in need for additional people driven by commitment and passion.

There is a growing amount of “blah blah” in European Union politics, the Eurosceptic prime minister said on Friday following a conference in Budapest with Santiago Abascal, the President of Spanish far-right Vox party.

Orban stated that politicians in Brussels restate matters, the meaning of which “we don’t even know,” over and over, but without any outcome.

Based on the Hungarian premier, the European Union needs politicians “who want something, who still have energy, dedication and passion.” In his opinion, those who think in a similar way should cooperate.

Remarking on his gathering with Abascal, he mentioned that the two politicians approved to keep a collaboration between Spain’s Vox party and the Orban-led right-wing Fidesz party.
