Doha, Qatar: A number of the Ministry of Labor employees took the legal oath to authorize them as judicial officers today, before the Minister of Labor HE Dr Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri, as part of the Ministry's efforts to enhance the supervisory role in work sites and workers accommodation in all regions of the country, and facilitate services provided to beneficiaries.
Authorizing some employees of the Ministry of Labor as a judicial officers contributes to controlling violations at work sites, and authorizing the inspector to enter workplaces and workers' residences to control and issue fines in case of non-compliance, which raises the level of control over establishments with regard to labor legislation in various regions of the country.
