Qatar Takes Part In Meeting On International Aid For Palestinians

Brussels: The State of Qatar participated in the meeting of the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee for Coordination of International Aid to the Palestinian People (AHLC), which was held in Brussels, and hosted by Norway and the European External Action Service (EEAS).
The State of Qatar was represented by Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg H E Khalid bin Fahd Al Hajri at the meeting.
During the meeting, important financial and technical issues were discussed, in the presence of several countries and relevant international organizations.
Ambassador of Qatar to Belgium affirmed in an intervention, the need to strengthen the Palestinian economy and build the institutions of the Palestinian state in a way that does not dispense with the political elements of a permanent, just and comprehensive settlement based on the two-state solution, in addition to reaching a solution to final status issues through negotiation and in accordance with Security Council resolutions, the Road Map for Peace and the Arab Peace Initiative.
