GCC Chief Underlines Importance Of Secretariat's Role In Shaping Up Policies

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, April 30 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretary-General Jasem Al-Budaiwi affirmed Sunday on the general secretariat's important role in shaping the general policies of the organization and the importance of following up and executing such policies.
A statement by the GCC the remarks by Al-Budaiwi came during a meeting with the general secretariats and their representatives.
Al-Budaiwi added that such task would ensure complete coordination and harmony among all divisions in the organization, which would in turn bolster the mission effectiveness and work.
The GCC chief noted that the meeting comes within the framework of the directives of GCC leaders and their keenness to follow up, implement the decisions, and advance the joint Gulf action.
The secretariat stated that during the meeting, the topics on the agenda and the proposals submitted by the members of the General Secretariat Council were discussed also. (end)
