Slightly Warm Friday, Rainy Saturday Forecast


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Temperatures are forecast to increase slightly accompanied by dusty weather on Friday, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

The weather department also noted that moderate temperatures will prevail in the mountainous areas and plains, and warm temperatures in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.

The Kingdom is expected to be gradually affected by a state of unstable weather on Saturday, with cloudy and dusty conditions expected in several regions, accompanied by scattered rainfall, according to the JMD.

In the evening and at night, heavy rain is expected, especially in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunder and possible hail.

On the same day, wind will be southeasterly moderate to brisk at night, causing dust especially in the Badia region.

On Sunday, a noticeable drop in temperature is expected, with cold and cloudy weather prevailing in most areas, with occasional heavy rain accompanied by thunder and hail, especially in the western parts of the Kingdom.

Temperatures on Friday in Amman will range between 13°C and 22°C and between 9°C and 18°C on Saturday. In Aqaba, temperatures will range between 13°C and 21°C on Friday and between 18°C and 29°C on Saturday.
