Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Constitutional Court issued a verdict on Sunday, March 19, 2023, annulling the results of the 2022 National Assembly (parliament) elections and bringing back the 2020 formation of the Parliament.

Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) announced this on its website adding that the court decided that the election process, which took place last September, was null and void, due to discrepancies in the decree dissolving the National Assembly of 2020.

The results of the 2022 elections, held in five constituencies, were now annulled and the members of the 2020 parliament are now reinstated, it added.
