Russia's Position To Extend Grain Deal For 60 Days Contradicts Agreement Minister Kubrakov

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russia's position to extend the grain deal for 60 days only contradicts the agreement signed by the Republic of Türkiye and the United Nations.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov on twitter , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Black Sea Grain Initiative agreement involves at least 120 days of extension, therefore Russia's position to extend the deal only for 60 days contradicts the document signed by Turkey and the UN,” Kubrakov wrote.

In his words, the Ukrainian side is waiting for the official position of the UN and Türkiye as the guarantors of the initiative.

A reminder that, during talks with the UN in Geneva on Monday, Russia suggested renewing the grain deal for 60 days only.
