UAE, Turkey collaboration pact will usher in new era of cooperation


(MENAFN) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) referred to their economic partnership deal with Turkey as a turning point that would usher in a new era of bilateral cooperation.

In order to increase their bilateral commerce, Abu Dhabi and Ankara signed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement on Friday.

“The agreement constitutes a milestone in the two countries’ qualitative relations and a new era in joint cooperation towards broader horizons for the benefit of the two countries,” Saeed Thani Hareb Al Dhaheri, the United Arab Emirates ambassador to Turkey, informed Anadolu. On the other hand, He claimed that long-standing, fruitful partnership between Abu Dhabi and Ankara dates back many decades.

“This month marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations,” Al Dhaheri declared. Noting that “the process of cooperation relations culminated with the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.”

The collaboration deal, according to the Emirati ambassador, shows how eager the United Arab Emirates and Turkey are to deepen their relationship.

He also mentioned that “the agreement will stimulate trade and investment exchange and joint economic growth, and enhance the quality of life for the two friendly peoples.”
