(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Amid the ongoing war, the enemy may strike critical infrastructure at any time, without the attack needing to be tied to any“symbolic dates.” That's according to the Air Force spokesman, Yuriy Ihnat, who spoke on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.
'I am currently in Vinnytsia, and these days people are bracing here, as they are in the west of Ukraine, for long-range missile strikes. I'd to say that Kharkiv, Odesa, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions live in a mode of daily anticipation. There are explosions and strikes. People there don't anticipate a certain date – be if February 23 or 24 – they just live with it. And Ukraine should be aware that it's very 'hot' there. We say that the enemy will attack critical infrastructure, and we attach ourselves to symbolic dates. However, we are at war, and a strike may come at any moment,' the spokesman said.

He also called on citizens to sign up for the Air Defense Force training courses hosted by Kharkiv's Ivan Kozhedub University.
'The enrollment to Kharkiv University continues as under martial law the admission procedure was simplified. Young women and men will learn to operate the most modern systems: IRIS-T, NASAMS, Patriot, and SAMP/T. So whoever wants to become a god of air defense – we invite you to sign in. Training abroad is also part of the program,” the spokesperson said.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, last week the Russians changed the tactics of missile strikes: while previously they used to launch a mass strike about once every two weeks, now they fire them off in small numbers, low over the waters of the Dniester and the Southern Buh.
