(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Rades, Tunisia, Feb. 11, 2023, SPA -- The Saudi paralympic team that took part in the 17th Tunis 2023 World Para Athletics Grand Prix ranked fifth among teams from 19 countries, it was reported Saturday.
The Saudi team won eight medals: three gold, three silver and two bronze.
Leader of the delegation Abdulrahman Al-Sheilan, told the Saudi Press Agency that he was proud of the achievement of the Saudi team, which made its debut in the 2023 tournament, adding that Saudi paralympic authorities expect best results in the coming competitions.
Some 300 women and men athletes took part in the event which started in the city of Rades early this week.
