German Cruise Ship Mein Schiff 6 Brings 2,435 Tourists On Third Voyage To Qatar

DOHA: Doha Port received 2,435 tourists aboard the mega cruise ship 'Mein Schiff 6' this morning, February 3, 2023.

Operated by Hamburg-based cruise line TUI Cruises, the tour is the ship's third voyage to Doha during Qatar Tourism and Mwani Qatar's 2022-2023 cruise season.

Sailing under the flag of Malta, Mein Schiff 6 is one of the largest fleets of Hamburg-based TUI Cruises that is capable of accommodating more than 2,500 passengers. Mein Schiff 6 is a mega ship similar to its sister vessel Mein Schiff 5, which made its maiden call to Doha Port during the 2019-2020 season. It measures 295 metres long and 35.8 metres wide, and boasts 17,895 m2 of outside decks and 1,800 m2 of spa and fitness areas.

Mein Schiff 6 offers a variety of amenities and facilities, including luxurious cabins, various dining options, and a range of entertainment and recreational activities.

At least 58 global cruise ships carrying approximately 200,000 visitors are expected to arrive in Qatar by the end of April 2023.

On Sunday, Doha Port received 3,426 tourists aboard the Italian cruise ship 'Costa Toscana', which is one of the most innovative and eco-friendly ships offering water games, swimming pools, hot tubs, restaurants and entertainment halls.

Qatar's cruise sector has recorded significant growth since the launch of the 2021-2022 cruise tourism season and is continuously pushing qatar's cruise tourism industry to new heights .
