A new milestone was reached in Saudi Arabia when the women's national football team triumphed in its first-ever international friendlies, which were held in Dammam between January 11 and January 19.

The international friendly competition featured four female teams: Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Comoros, and Mauritius.
After a 1-1 draw with Pakistan on Thursday night at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium in Al-Rakah, the Saudi women's team won the championship.

The women's Saudi national team set a tournament record by allowing just one goal, which earned Sarah Khaled of the Greens the honor of being named the competition's top goalkeeper.
