Aramco Gulf Operations Co. signs agreement with KGOC to improve Durra gas sector


(MENAFN) Aramco Gulf Operations Co. has inked a memorandum of understanding with the Kuwait Gulf Oil Co. to improve the mutual Durra gas sector, which is estimated to generate nearly one billion cubic feet of Natural gas a day, in line with 84,000 barrels of liquefied gas.

In a press meeting, current Chief Executive of KGOC Khaled Al-Otaibi stated that the MoU targets to re-assess as well as finish engineering research of the field ventures in addition to form a technical team to continue the plan.

The inking ceremony was joined by Kuwait’s Deputy premier as well as Minister of Oil Badr Al-Mulla in addition to Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.

The inking of the MoU is believed to an implementation of a deal on improving the Al-Durra submerged sector that was inked on on the 24th of December three years ago, among the administration of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, as stated by Al-Otaibi.
