(MENAFN) Former President Donald trump remarked during his address starting his 2024 campaign that the present US administration is pushing "radical civic and gender craziness" in schools. He also stated that whenever Trump comes to the White House, this would cease.
“Joe Biden has also proven that he is committed to indoctrinating our children even using the Department of Justice against parents who object,” he asserted on Tuesday evening in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
This was a reference to the White House collaborating with the National Association of School Boards last year to establish a justification for treating worried parents as possible domestic terrorists, according to US media reports.
“It’s a terrible thing. That’s why it’s so sad what’s happening,” Trump stated. “When I’m in the White House, schools will cease pushing Critical Race Theory” and will have to stop “radical civic and gender insanity” or face losing federal funding.
The current US administration has threatened to withdraw federal funds for school meals from organizations that do not follow its national "gender equality" agenda. In April, Biden said that "affirming" a child's transgender identity is "one of the most important things you can do to keep them safe and healthy."
