Chairman DDC B'gam Inaugurates Renovation Work Of Makhama-Paripora Bridge

Expresses gratitude to LG administration for expedited work

Beerwah- Chairman District Development Council Budgam Nazir Ahmad Khan today along with Chief Engineer PWD (R&B) Kashmir inaugurated the renovation work on Makhama – Paripora Bridge. Pertinently, the bridge was declared unsafe by the authorities few months ago after it developed cracks.

Nazir Ahmad Khan expressed gratitude to the LG administration for expediting the work of renovation and completing the requisites in the shortest possible time. The renovation work is being undertaken at the cost of rupees one crore & eighty five lakhs and will help in the restoration of movement across Magam area.

Chairman DDC Budgam while talking to media highlighted the role of PRI institutions in flagging the urgent public issues with the administration. Senior officers of the PWD (R&B) Department including Executive Engineer R&B Budgam & AEE R&B Sub Division Beerwah, PRI members & other senior citizens of the area were also present on the occasion.
