(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) New York, September 23, 2022, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Arab States Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf met with the Secretary General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Dato Lim Jock Hoi on the sidelines of Dr. Al-Hajraf's participation in the meetings of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York today.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between GCC and ASEAN, ways to support and enhance them in all fields, the importance of intensifying joint cooperation, coordination on regional and international issues of common interest, and support for all efforts aiming at strengthening international peace and security.
