Amman, Sept. 7 (Petra)-Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JRMS) on Wednesday evacuated Duaa Abu Issa, a sick girl from Gaza Strip to receive treatment at King Hussein Medical City (KHMC) in Amman, as part of the continuous Royal directives to provide assistance to the coastal enclave's people to alleviate their suffering.
The patient's medical report, which was sent to Jordanian field hospital Gaza 71, showed that the Gazan girl suffers from frequent headaches, blurred vision, and a benign brain mass at the pituitary gland and needs to undergo an endoscopic surgery to remove the non-malignant tumor.
The girl arrived to KHMC to follow up her health condition and receive treatment from a specialized medical team, JRMS said in a statement.
In a interview with 'Petra' reporter, the patient's parents expressed deep thanks and appreciation for this 'generous' humanitarian step, valuing the medical and humanitarian efforts made by Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) in the Gaza Strip for years.
