French midfielder Paul Pogba shows sympathy towards citizens of Gaza


(MENAFN) French midfielder Paul Pogba has showed compassion with the Palestinians who were murdered throught Israel's most recent strikes on Gaza.

On Instagram, the Juventus midfielder published a photo of Gazan children who were killed in the strikes with a caption stating "May Allah protect the people of Gaza."

Israeli warplanes began airstrikes in the Gaza Strip last week, quoting what the military stated that it was an “imminent threat of attacks” by the Islamic Jihad group.

In line with the Palestinian Health Ministry, more than 45 Palestinians, counting in a girl who is only 5 years old, were murdered in the attack, whereas at least 360 others were wounded.

The French star who is 29 years old has numerous times expressed sympathy for the Palestinian citizen on social media.

He won two English League Cups with Manchester United in 2010 and 2017, and also helped the Red Devils lift the 2017 UEFA Europa League trophy.

Pogba also won the FIFA World Cup title with the French national team in 2018 in Russia.
