Qatar's Daily Average Of Covid Cases Drop To 883: Moph Weekly Data

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has reported in its weekly Covid-19 report, for the July 25-31 period, a daily average of 883 cases — 762 cases in the community and 121 among travellers.



This marked a decrease in Covid-19 cases over the previous week, when the MoPH recorded 1,014 daily average cases in the country. Also, data available on the ministry's website Monday showed that 966 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, including 837 cases in the community and 129 among travellers.
Following are the highlights of the weekly report published by the ministry Monday for the July 25-31 period:

* Covid-19 cases
-Daily average cases in community: 762
-Daily average cases among travellers: 121
-Total number of current active cases: 7,035
-Total number of infected people since the start of the pandemic: 409,622

* Recoveries
- Daily average of recoveries for the last seven days: 1,018
- Total number of recoveries until now: 401,906

* Deaths
-Number of deaths in the last seven days: 1
-Total number of deaths until now: 681

* Vaccination
-Daily average Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the last seven days: 2,760
-Total number of booster doses administered to date: 1,827,082
-Total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered since the start of vaccination campaign: 7,322,023

* Covid-19 testing
-Daily average number of tests for the last seven days: 21,523
-Total number of people tested to date: 3,754,541

* Hospital acute care
-Daily average of acute hospital admissions for the last seven days: 25
-Total number of people currently under acute hospital care: 109

* Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

-Daily average number of ICU admissions in the last seven days: 0
-Total number of people currently in ICU: 2
