Turkmenistan Ready To Provide Assistance To Iran In Connection With Helicopter Crash

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 20. Turkmenistan is readyto provide assistance to Iran in connection with the hard landingof a helicopter, the press service of the Ministry of ForeignAffairs of Turkmenistan says, Trend reports.
"Turkmenistan is ready to provide the necessary assistance toIran in connection with the“hard landing” of a helicopter in theprovince of East Azerbaijan," the report says.
On May 19, a helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi,Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Representative of Iran'sSupreme Leader in Tabriz Mohammad Ali Ali Hashemi, and EastAzerbaijan Province Governor Malik Rehmati made a hard landing onits way from Hudafarin to Tabriz. Due to weather conditions anddifficult terrain, search and rescue teams have not yet reached thecrash site.
